Celebrating the finished work with our amazing volunteers!

For the past couple of weeks we were busy working on our base station in Mae Wang valley. We were paving steps in the jungle, building a hut to hold our rubber tubes for river tubing, setting up a refreshment van, constructing restrooms, setting up shelters for tents, painting, drawing and decorating to make everything fun and exciting for visitors. It was a lot of hard work and we had wonderful volunteers who helped us out. Thank you guys, we would not be able to do it without you!

Now that the work is over we are left with a wonderful ‘exploration station’ that will serve as a base camp for our activities in Mae Wang valley. Our guests who join us on tours to this area will have a place to change and rest. They will also be able to grab a river tube and go for some exciting, wild tubing down the river rapids!

The station is also close to our local elephant camp and river rafting base. This makes it an excellent strategic point for all our activities in the area. Activities in Mae Wang just got a lot easier for our dear future guests!
