Day 1

We meet in Chiang Mai at 8 AM, and we brief you on driving safety. Afterwards our motorbike tour officially begins! We leave Chiang Mai around 8:30 AM and drive to the south on Canal road to San Pathong, then head West to Mae Wang and continue to Doi Inthanon National Park.

Our first stop in Doi Inthanon is a wonderful cascading waterfall Mae Yha, where we take a break after the long drive, freshen up and have lunch.

Then it’s back on the bikes and we dirt bike to the highest point in Thailand at 2,565 meters above sea level. This is a scenic one to one and a half hour drive past local hill tribe villages, farms and paddy fields. On the way we also stop at King and Queen twin pagodas. At the top we can enjoy the cool weather and unusual flora and fauna.

Afterwards we drive downhill to Karen village Mae Klang Luang and stay overnight there either in a bungalow or with the villagers in their homes.

Day 2

After breakfast we explore the village with its surrounding coffee plantations and Royal Agricultural Project. We can take you on a one hour trek in the area. If you prefer riding a motorbike, we can skip the trek and drive off road back through Doi Inthanon National Park and down to Mae Wang valley where we have lunch and go bamboo rafting.

Then it’s an uphill drive to Spicy Villa Eco-lodge where you can swim and enjoy the beautiful waterfall nearby or relax at your own private bungalow on the hill.

We finish the day with a Thai cooking lesson.

Day 3

The last day of our motorbike tour. Wake up early to see a sea of mist clearing in the valley below you.
We have breakfast before we head to the elephant camp where you feed and shower the elephants in the river.

Visit to elephant camp is optional on all our tours. We can take you to the elephant camp to meet these gentle giants, feed them, and give them a bath, or you can opt to simply relax at Spicy Villa after two days on the road. It’s up to you. We no longer offer elephant riding.

After lunch we ride to Mae Wang valley, Samoeng, around to Mae Rim and back to Chiang Mai.
